This page helps customers and technicians configure FTP image delivery to Watcher247, then define the motion zone so WhatsApp alerts are sent only for important events.
Use these values as a starting point, then adjust by camera model and location.

Enable Event-Triggered Snapshot, use High quality, capture 1 to 3 images, and start with 3000ms interval.
Enable Motion Detection, draw the zone carefully, set medium sensitivity, and test alerts.
Open the camera IP in a browser and go to Configuration.
Network → Advanced Settings → FTP, enter server, port, username and password, enable Upload Picture, then Test and Save.
Storage → Schedule Settings → Capture → Capture Parameters, enable Event-Triggered Snapshot and select JPEG/High/Capture Number.
Event → Basic Event → Motion Detection, enable motion, draw the alert area, then enable Upload to FTP/Memory Card under Linkage Method.
In the Reolink app, open camera settings then Storage/FTP, and enter Server, Port, Username, and Password.
Choose PASV or Auto when available, and set File Type to Image or Image + Video depending on the package.
Draw the area you do not want alerts about, and leave the target area uncovered.
Tap Save, move in front of the camera, and confirm images arrive in Watcher247.


Paths differ by interface version, but the idea is the same: configure FTP, then link motion events to FTP snapshots.
Setting → Storage → Destination/FTP, enter server details and Test.
Storage → Schedule → Snapshot, choose Motion or IVS as needed.
Event → Video Detection/Motion Detection, draw the area and enable Snapshot in Linkage.
Setup → Video & Audio → Snapshot, enable Snapshot and set quality/size.
Setup → Storage → FTP, enter IP/Port/User/Password, choose Upload Images, then Test.
Setup → Events → Motion Detection, draw the area and link the event to FTP upload.
Settings → Events → Recipients, add an FTP/SFTP recipient with Watcher247 details.
Events → Rules, use Motion Detection as the condition and Send images through FTP/SFTP as the action.
Analytics or Motion Detection, set the zone and sensitivity.
In VIGI or NVR interface, find Storage/FTP and enter server details.
Enable Motion or Human/Vehicle Detection and link the action to Snapshot upload.
Test uploaded image quality because some firmware versions may reduce FTP snapshot resolution.
Watcher247 works best with cameras that can send JPEG images to FTP on motion.
